These are the voyages of the Mary Jane, who's mission is to explore new worlds, buy new shoes and go cutely where no other Twinn has gone before.

It was not a typical day aboard the MTDS (My Twinn Doll Ship) Mary Jane. The fashionDoll Empire was overrunning the galaxy and assimilating other dolls faster than before. The MTDS Mary Jane had been on a scientific mission when it had been attacked by a FashionDoll Empire Battle Cruiser. Seriously damaged, it had managed a short jump into hyperspace before its engines had failed and it had been forced to stop for repairs. The long range sensors detected the Battle Cruiser had followed them into hyperspace and was fast approaching their position.

"Prepare to jump to warp speed Chief Engineer Lenora on my mark." said Captain Audrey.

"Och Captain, we canna make warp speed we've no more Dylithium crystals" Chief Lenora said over the communicator.

"What? again? why is that whenever we need to go to warp speed we have no more Dylithium crystals??"

"Captain," (Science Officer Emma interjected), "I fear that if we dont do something very quickly we will be overrun by the FashionDoll Empire and be assimilated."

Captain Audrey pushed the alarm button, "All crew members, go to condition red, charge up our weapons, close all bulkhead openings and batten all hatches, this could be our final battle and we will go down fighting till the last doll." The alarm rang throughout the ship and the crew swiftly went about their business. Captain Audrey addressed her senior crew members, "We can't allow them to assimilate us. Anybody got any ideas?"

"Lets throw out some of our old clothes and shoes and maybe they will think we have left already." Security Officer Wendy suggested.

"Why don't we make a peace treaty with the FashionDoll Empire and we can all live in peace?" Councillor Kelsey said quietly.

Bernetta started to rip her stuffing out of her body "NOBODY is going to make a fashion doll out of ME!"

The beep of the communicator interrupted the discussion. "Captain, we have a ship approaching at light speed from the 4th quadrant, there is 1 life sign on board and its powering its weapons."

"Captain, the FashionDoll Empire ship is powering it's weapons too, we need to get out of here."

The ship which was approaching at light speed suddenly erupted into the space between the MTDS Mary Jane and the huge pink cube that was the FashionDoll battle cruiser.

"Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" was the first thing the Twinns heard as the ship opened fire on the battle cruiser.

"Ahoy Captain Audrey, need a push?"

"Well well, if it isn't my old friend Smuggler Caitie. You are a sight for sore eyes."

"Yep, everybody knows that Caities make your eyes water. I am beaming aboard some Dylithium crystals for you to get those engines moving, in the meantime better concentrate all your fire power on that battle cruiser."

Captain Audrey knew that the Caitie was right, "Fire the Quantum cannon! Target their shield generators and that pink thingey in the top right hand corner."

A green flash erupted from the Mary Jane and struck the pink cube which was rapidly approaching. "Direct hit Captain, but its had no effect, they are still coming." Weapons officer Cookie reported.

"Oh pooh!" Captain Audrey said, having momentarily lost her composure. "They have opened fire on us. Prepare for evasive manoeuvres!" Captain Audrey calmly addressed the computer "Computer, engage evasive manoeuvre Omega 3 Delta Twinn. All hands to battle stations."

The Mary Jane shuddered as the pink rays from the other ship penetrated their shields and caused major damage in the hull. "we have a hull breach on decks 12, 13 and 14. and our shields are down by 20%." Second officer Berkeley reported.

"Rerouting the plasma flux through the exterior power conduits Captain." Chief Lenora's voice said nonchalantly over the communicator.

"Caitie, can you buy us more time? we are having major engine problems here."

"Aye Aye Captain Audrey, you can count on me."

The small smuggler ship fired a burst from its main energy weapons and then dove straight towards the Pink Cube which had now come to a stop. "Take this... and that.. and this and some of this too!!!"

The ferocity of the attack was awesome to behold, the small nimble ship was too fast for the bigger ship to track with heavy weapons and too small to neutralise with close in weaponry. "That doll sure knows how to handle a ship." Emma said.

"She would have made a fine academy officer if she wasn't so dismissive of authority." Captain Audrey said, "We grew up together and she was always a maverick."

The communicator beeped again, "Captain, we have full power once again, we are ready to make the jump to warp speed."

"Good work Chief!! Medical, what are our casualties like?"

"We have lost 3 Ariels, 2 Rosemary's and a Catherine already Captain." Chief Medical Officer Pearl reported from the sickbay. "I also have some seriously wounded Denika's and we have 2 bodies with no heads too."

"It's time we split this fight, Caitie, can you hear me?"

But Caitie's ship was seriously damaged, "I can hear you Captain, but I don't know for how much longer."

"We are ready to split the scene, we are beaming you aboard. 1 to beam up Tasha and beam her straight to sickbay, report when its done."

"Aye Aye Captain."

"I hope that....."

But Captain Audrey never finished the sentence as the small smuggler ship ended its brief period of glory by flying straight into the pink cube.

"Noooooooooooooooo... not that, Tasha? did you get her?"

Pearl's voice came through the intercom "She is safe in sickbay Captain."

"Chief, get us out of here! Helm, set your course for the Epsilon Quadrant. Engage!"

The pink cube fired its powerful destructo ray, but the MTDS Mary Jane vanished into hyperspace.

Later, safely out of reach of the enemy ship, Captain Audrey visited her friend in sickbay. "Thanks for helping out Caitie."

"No problem Audrey, you know what they say.... "

"Yes, Caities are always helpful and ready to lend a hand when encountering fashion dolls." Audrey completed the sentence for her.

Caitie laughed, "And where to from here Captain?"

"Well, we need to make some repairs and I fear that we have just delayed the inevitable battle which must come between the FashionDoll Empire and the other dolls. We are making for the American Girl Planet where we will rendezvous with their fleet and that of Princess Anne Estelle, together we can try stop this menace from spreading. We are also sending out envoys to other dolls to see if they will join us in our fight. Already the Bratz have been assimilated and I fear that since the demise of the Magic Attic Kingdom they are getting stronger while we are getting weaker. But, we are strong of armature and even as we speak 2 droids are on their way to our rendezvous with plans of that battle cruiser, many a Twinn has lost its life fighting this menace, we have no choice, we will strike back."

And so the MTDS Mary Jane headed off into space, looking for friendly faces in an infinite universe.
