Yet another classic dinings aloon rotting away in Randfontein is Shashi (229). She has had major water damage to her interior from a leaking roof and a broken window and if not stabilised soon will become yet another memory of our once glorious railway heritage. Her kitchen was housd in a seperate coach that is also rotting away at Sanrasm, although she is on a different line altogether. In spite of the decay, Shashi is still beautiful, and I hope that she can be saved.
