The CG White

The Cecil G White, was converted into a fishing boat under the name Cape Infanta. She was built at Cantieri Navali e Officiene Meccaniche de Venezia in 1959. She served as a pilot boat before being withdrawn from service and sold into private ownership, reportedly in 1982. This photo shows her still under conversion in the late 1980's. Her wheelhouse was donated to the East London Museum in 1983 where it can still be seen today. Ken Malcolm kindly supplied additional photographs of the Cape Infanta, dated 2009.
