Since coming to the United Kingdom I have encountered a lot of churches, cemeteries and graveyards. There are similiarities in all of them, but each is a unique experience. I am also glad to say that I have racked up quite a few cathedrals and abbeys too, and it is really about time I started to make this a coherent collection. This page will probably always be under construction, and quite a few of the links in here are to My Musings of a Curious Individual blog. However, while I gather data this may be somewhat of a confused page.
Cathedrals and Abbeys.
Parish Churches, while not as grand as the Cathedrals are often beautiful structures on their own. My interest in them is mostly associated with the churchyard, but I have been into quite a few and sometimes they are magnificent inside, the weight of ages heavy and the spirit of community represented within their walls. Most of these links open into a relevant blogpost and I have deleted those that only point to a picture.
